My Children, Muck Boots, And The Wintertime Snow
Feb 7, 2010 Uncategorized
My kids love playing outside during the winter, particularly when there is 10 feet of snow. However, I don’t know any mother that has had a simple instance getting high quality winter boots for their children. When your kids plan to have fun outside in the snow and mud such as mine do, keeping them comfortable and dry is nearly impossible! Typically by the time my children wander back inside, their little feet are frozen solid. However this won’t happen anymore, not since they began putting on Muck Boots.
Now, the little ones can run outside for long periods of time and really get down to business building their snow forts. Practically nothing is more fun than burrowing a large pit in the side of a yard snowbank and hiding on the inside. I have never been on the inside a real igloo, but if they make the fort adequate for me then I can’t resist climbing inside in order to investigate it! Digging a hole in a snowbank takes time, though, and staying warm long enough so you can get the job done has often been a challenge. Muck Boots are thermal insulated to keep the tiny toes toasty for as long as it takes in order to finish the project.
Muck Boots in fact contain a completely solid rubber construction, making these One hundred percent waterproof. Although I’ve heard this claim before about other boots I have purchased for our little ones, I’ve in no way seen this to be genuine before. I didn’t think this was also possible with a childrens boot, however Muck Boots genuinely solves the challenge of getting a waterproof boot. And, when my children remove their Muck Boots (yes, they can get this brand off all by themselves), their feet are still comfortable and toasty inside—their toes are without doubt the last thing to get cold at the moment! The stretch-fit topline binding fits snugly to the calf, stopping snow from piling inside, still providing complete freedom of movement during any igloo building, climbing, or scampering that could take place.
Among the list of wonderful things concerning the Muck Boots for kids is they not just function fantastic in the freezing and snowy conditions, but when early spring arrives and all that beautiful snow turns the backyard into a massive mud pit, these exact same boots work like a charm. They will keep the mud and wet out beautifully, and they are super simple to clean up, all I have to do is hose them off. Once more, that solid rubber engineering makes them the ideal choice for almost any outside conditions.
I won’t go back to purchasing the cheap, plain looking rubber boots for the kids ever again. We have finally found some boots which i can trust to help keep them warm and dry when they have fun outdoors. There are lots of Muck Boots kids’ models to choose from, based on what you need. Youngsters should be playing outside more, anyway, and I’m sure that my children will be playing outside this winter season a lot more than ever before, ever since they keep warm and dry longer. Muck Boots has made this possible!
